PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To lead a squad / team of process designers in the development of ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ customer journeys and end to end business processes, and support the central and local change management teams deliver the changes required to optimise processes and drive out inefficiencies
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Works with the Business Architect to maintain the process governance framework, using the agreed methodologies and tools, to ensure consistency of output and alignment with overall agreed architecture design.
- Works with the Business Architect to identify, assess and priori8se opportunity areas for improvement and driving out inefficiencies.
- Works with the change management community (both central and local) to support implementation of any agreed changes to processes.
- Gathers all existing insight and measurement to capture the current end to end journey from multiple perspectives to create a central, credible and holistic view to support strategic objectives.
- Documents the ‘as is’ end to end processes for the scope of opportunities identified and, working with the business architect, change manager and subject ma\er experts (“SME”), designs the ‘to be’ end to end process state, identifies the gaps and establishes metrics to measure the changes.
- Designs, collates and delivers requirements for KPIs which be\er reflect efficiency, effectiveness, quality, customer expectations and customer perception.
- Proactively works with the SMEs to identify opportunities for driving out inefficiencies within business opera8ons.
- Facilitates thought leadership around business design based on experience, best practice and external industry reference points.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Significant experience of driving transformational change in large organisations using process design methodologies, practices and tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kepner-Tregoe etc.
- Qualified in change management practices
- Strong stakeholder management
- Strong leadership skills able to lead both direct and matrix teams across the business
- Significant experience of leading and managing process designers
