Business Change Programme Manager – £75,000 – £90,000

ICM Partners are working with a leading blue chip organisation based in Manchester to help them recruit a business facing Programme Manager. This is an opportunity to join a business that is going through lot’s of positive change and the successful candidate will be key to ensuring the ongoing success of the business.

You will be responsible for leading the end to end delivery of transformation programmes which are business critical, highly complex and cross-functional in nature – working closely with the relevant sponsors and business owners to shape, incept, design & deliver programmes in line with the transformation programme and ways of working to successfully achieve the desired outcomes, and ultimately ensuring a seamless progression to sustainable change in the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and coordination of the assigned business change programmes, These programmes are highly cross-functional and complex in their nature – generally with a £5m to £10m programme budget.
  • Define and establish the cross-functional team required to support the delivery of the programme.
  • Lead, develop, coach and inspire the project team in the delivery of the programme ensuring a relentless focus on quality, execution and achievement of the programme outcomes.
  • Define and establish appropriate governance for the programme, ensuring key stakeholders are appropriately engaged and the programme has the right level of oversight and decision-making.
  • Identify and proactively manage programme level risks, issues and dependencies, including timely escalation in an appropriate manner when required
  • Provide appropriate programme controls and monitoring to ensure the programme is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements – including end to end lifecycle management and robust change control against baselined scope, milestones, outcomes and benefits

Experience Required

  • 10+ years experience of working at a senior level in the change and transformation space
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful change teams in the management and oversight of complex programmes in excess of £5m+.
  • Experience in balancing & managing multiple internal ‘customers’ at a senior level in the development and execution of complex change programmes.
