Business Change Project Manager £50,000 – £60,000

ICM Partners have been asked to recruit a Project Manager to join a Financial Services organisation based in Liverpool.

We are looking for a Project Manager who can work cross functionally with a variety of different stakeholders  and be responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency and value for money through robust cost challenge and cost management (budgets, estimates, forecasting and resource utilisation)

The organisation operates a relatively flat structure, you will have access to all levels of management and you will be expected to deliver projects to time, cost and quality. Having full responsibility for these projects  requires a project manager who is comfortable taking control and working independently.

  • You will be required to implement appropriate project structures (project teams, steering groups, project boards etc.) in line with the project governance frameworks and processes.
  • Define, maintain and actively manage project plans and ensure all plans are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Compile and deliver accurate and timely project status reporting.
  • Identification, mitigation, and management of project risks and issues.
  • Establish and apply rigorous project change control, ensuring all changes to project milestones and/or scope are fully impact assessed.
  • Project defect management.  Facilitate and manage the prioritisation of defects and drive remediation with the 3rd party providers in internal teams as required.
  • Lead engagement for the project with the operations management groups / stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered in a safe and structured way, avoiding any negative impact on the operation of the business.
  • Manage key external supplier relations and performance when required.
  • Project release management.  Work with the internal IT delivery teams and 3rd party suppliers to ensure a robust and well manage release process is followed.

We are looking to appoint somebody into this role immediately. The salary will be £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience (Plus benefits)
