As Head of Portfolio you will provide strategic oversight, governance and controls for a business undergoing major transformation.

You will provide full transparency into the performance of a portfolio of projects and programmes, as well as setting out impactful and regular executive progress reporting on process against time, budget and quality.

You will ensure that the entire programme’s projects are appropriately governed, in relation to resources, schedule, cost and risk. . Additionally this will involve the delivery of milestones, including robust cost and risk management to drive improved operational and capital performance.

You will both support and challenge Delivery Teams to deliver on Greater Value.

You will ensure the robust delivery of the whole portfolio, building a project controls culture and driving capabilities to ensure continuous improvement leaning from past lessons. These project control specialists covering areas such as risk management, document control, planning, reporting, financial forecasting, resource demand management, knowledge management, process improvement and quality assurance.

You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of project controls tools and techniques, including but not limited to risk management, planning and scheduling, cost management, change management, budgeting and reporting and resource management.
