ICM PARTNERS are working in partnership with an organisation who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a business that is embarking on a transformation programme.

The role requires someone who has a track record of delivering business projects within a fast paced environment.

The role combines project delivery and working with demanding stakeholders to deliver strategic roadmaps and business plans. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and a Solid track record of Project Delivery Reporting.

Commercial awareness is key and understanding the importance of the value other team members have in helping aid the successful delivery of the programme is very important. Creativity and the ability to self manage will be essential alongside good influencing skills.

Main responsibilities will be to: 

• Identify and work with key stakeholders to design and plan projects alone with the relevant activities that will deliver the desired business benefits, influencing as appropriate.
• Proactively monitor the projects overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
• Lead and Motivate the project team
• Manage the projects budget, by monitoring the expenditure and costs against the projects progress
• Develop a plan that reviews and evaluates the benefits that were originally defined in the business case

Skills will ideally include:

• Proven experience of delivering strategic projects within a fast moving retail environment.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the project lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills and influencing skills.
• Recognised Project Management qualification, preferably Prince 2

This is an exciting role and a great time to join this company who are going through change and transformation. Location is Liverpool, Day rate £400- £450 and contract duration initially 6 months.
